The impacts of closing the Churchill crossing on the Southgate neighborhood are discussed.
The Southgate neighborhood is unusual. It has only two access points: El Camino, via Churchill and (partially) Miramonte, and Alma via Churchill. The streets in Southgate are narrower (24 feet) than the most Palo Alto streets, which are mostly 36 feet wide or wider.
